It runs from the Gilboa Mountains in the West to the Jordan River in the East. It is one of the beautiful regions in Israel.<\/p>\n<p>The abundance of springs (40 in number) brought residents to the valley throughout human history. &nbsp;The number of springs is surprising, given the warm climate and low rainfall. The answer lies in the geological structure of the Gilboa Mountains, rising above the valley.
